I found a issue and that is survival won't work at lest not without issues. The laser will mine only after i fly over to this odd looking drill and powerd down reactor put fuel in it and thin the laser works. It is if it is making a drill with a reactor to mine but in survival it has no fuel from start so it won't work and somehow i was able to give it some. Also the power cost to use it is a little to high i mean i got a 10x large reactor and 50% of my power is gone, for a small mining ship that is far to much power.

Holycrap i just see the power input is 22GW damn that is insane. O-O

Get closer. If are under 100m, you only need 3 or so reactors.

As for the issue, it's odd you are seeing that. When that little platform is created, it's given 100kg of Uranium.

Still think you sould drop the power down a bit i am about 125M away and that is my power i am using, 22GW and if i need to get any more close thin what would be the point of the laser if i run out of fuel before it is done or i need to be ontop of what i mine. The power cost at max sould only be 5GW at best and i know this is based on EVE Online and a mining barge has 2 lasers but the amount of power i need so far i need a battleship to power and the amount of fuel being used is more thin i get from the asteroid ontop of the refinery even on 10x speed is to slow to make the fuel faster thin i use it. The laser sould be better thin a drill but in the long run it will waste you so much fuel and not save much time because of that. Best you get out of it is the lack of damage from mining drills and the cool beam but otherthin that you might want to think over the balence for survival players. As i plan on adding this to my own server but with how it is i can't due to balence.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd rather start more strict and loosen it up, then start loose and make it stricter. Less complaints that way. :-)

im having an issue, i did a complete reinstall with no mods, unsubscribed everything and ran only this one. when i turn on the lense it spins but dosent project a laser or cut into the astroid, even at close range. when i mount the turret and use it the turret spins and makes a tiny flickering beamthat dosent make it out of the turret or dig. i have plenty of reactors and cargo, convey, uranium. i cant figure this out and i really really really want to use this awesome mod. please help

I have had the same bug as the others the drill itself did not spawn with any uranium in it bot when i put some in myself it seems to work fine

I found a somewhat odd bug, where I'll park it, come back, and it mined everything. Like, all the stone. Now I have to add a stone deleter mod. XD

I am having the same issue it dosent show any laser or mine at all

I have a fix coming shortly that will fix it not activating properly in survival.
As for stone, stone is still collected, however the automatic mode won't try to get it. Stone will be collected if it's blocking access to other ore. I will clarify the description.
I will add an option to destroy stone in a future update.

Automatic mode requires an ore detector, but static and manual control do not.
