I'm only repeating what countless people have been saying for the last 11 days to those who can't be bothered to read the comments. I just hope that people will see this first and get the fix instead of wasting their time posting that this one doesn't work anymore. Just trying to be helpful. I put the title in capitals to make it easier to notice.

It's working for most people. The most common reason it doesn't work is not having a large enough page file. This new fix uses more page file than the previous one. Try increasing the size of your page file and watch the lower number as the game loads. You can always lower the page file size later once you know how much it actually needs.

Alternatively, you may be using some incompatible mods. Check out the document that lists all these. Copy and paste this link into your browser (it won't load directly from Steam).

Klyte45 himself has a mod requires original LSM but still this alternative cannot work as foundation.

Klyte45 took the original code (available on the github page) and simply adjusted what needed to be adjusted. It is, for all intents and purposes, the same mod with added/adjusted code. Therefore, the same functionality.

I've got a weird issue, wondering if anyone else has ever seen this:

I'm been using the new LSM temporary fix provided by Klyte45 (THANK ALL THE GODS IN THE UNIVERSE FOR YOU SIR!) and it IS working - my city loads in 2 to 3 minutes, not 20-30, and I get an accurate LSM asset report and asset browser files, BUT...

I never actually SEE the loading screen... Just a blue chirper circle and a progress bar...

Anyone else?

Ignore my previous - turns out it is the loading image changer - that's not playing nice with the Temporary LSM... disable/unsub this and you get your Loading Screen back!

Same here - I honestly cannot see ANY differences between the "old" mode and the "temporary fix"
