I am having the same issue, sad that this has not been responded to.

I have tried everything except a different host company, many load, replacing files, copy from local to server, new server, etc...

Anyone else? I mean I can load almost every map - except Shigoislands and like 2 others - has to be a different way to do this stuff - besides the copy from local to server - tried that. For my host you got to mod section, you search for the mods you want, you add them. You restart server it loads everything up. I have tried just this mod, as well as with other mods, messed around with mod order, etc... and still can't get it to load.

i cant reproduce this crash can anyone test it with deleting the "PersistentGameplaySublevel_Sound.umap" out of the Mod folder (Both Server and SP)

Ok I tried that still can't get the server to start.

I stood up a clean server through host. Let it load and go online with the island as a static test.

I stopped it, went in and went to mods, selected Shigo, then restarted.

I can see it go from stopped to setting up (server state in host) which is when it loads files and all that

I see it get to starting- so the server at that point is on its way to being online, has IP address, has port, etc... but you can not connect till it says online - IT NEVER gets to online. An hour later (last time I tried) and it is still starting.

So to try you fix, This time did same as above but after waiting 10 minutes for it to start - I stopped it, went in and deleted the file with FileZilla. Then restarted - it is as of this post still trying to start.

The host company is Arkserver.io

They have a free 8 hour trial. If anyone else wants to try any of this... you can just sign up make the server and have at it - try the FTP, try the swapping files etc... and see if you can get it to work. I really want to play this map again, my hole group does, we played it ages ago when it wasn't like it is now. Sad we can't. Unless I switch host companies - which i could do but then what do we do have two server companies? Doesn't seem like a good solution. Nothing against the map - the same server company has issues with 2 other mods, but otherwise seems great.

I am open to other suggestions?

Same exact thing happens to me. Even with ZERO mods. This map is broken right now.

That is an odd issue, I don't use a host company, rather, a friend in the US with a decent machine and internet connection is what we use, I connect via TeamViewer and we run 2 - 4 servers at a time, for nearly 2 years now, no problem, I use ASM.

I just now set up Shigo Islands, took about 15 mins (tweaking not included) but it starts right up and I can log in fine.

Not that this should change anything but try putting "/Game/Mods/661564024/ShigoIslands" as the map, usually one just needs "ShigoIslands" but you never know.

I use Arkservers.io as a host, and you cannot do any of that. It does everything (mostly) for you. I have never had another problem with this server.

My Man Hosts are Nitrado and G-Portal and both work fine ... its hard to find i problrm i have no logs and can reproduce it.

arkserver.io allows a free 8 hour trial. Literally requires no personal info. Go there, set it up and see if you can get it to start.

Both of you who are having the issue have the same host, have you tried contacting them and see if they can do something for you, maybe check the server logs to see if there are any errors being thrown?

yes allready did that - problem is as a host compnay they dont excel at the logging side of things - infact there customer support will blame the mod. They basically rent servers and have a cutom gui they wrote to handle most things. I have had 3 different tickets into them - they can't give me logs, they have the mod listed as poteniall broken. As noted above - I have tried everything that is possible through there interface and through FTP. You can't do anythign with start up scripts at this time - I did ask them to add that feature - but they have not yet.

I can run it fine locally, just for the record over the last 4 months I have tried both with servers I currently rent and with different email accounts to use trials - I was hoping that it might be a more common problem - with a solution I haven't read about yet.

There maybe something specific about how there gui loads the mod, and it does the same thing with 2 other maps. Looks like I will have to pay for a different server/host if I want to run this map :(

Well that is a good thing, in the past I have gotten close to a canned response. Despite a lot of detail and send emails back and forth. I hope you get a good response Bovine.
