I kinda wish this stuff was optional, nothing against the mod or anything I just dislike forced holiday events on private servers.

What time on 1/1 will it end? Hopefully early morning, im so sick of headaches from bright white everywhere lol

No wonder official ARK dumped the official winter wonderland event thanx to couple randoms, at least if you complained about rain, we would maybe get some weather control commands, RAIN is depressing, snow is cheerful.

snow is depressing if you live in an area where it snows half the year and you only get 6 hours of daylight

I love snow, I think it's beautiful. BUT, being my first experience with this map, it almost made me give up on the map (I installed it for its diverse biomes) until I realized it was from an event and not the way the map always looked, lol. Still waiting for it to return to normal.

Having it optional would likely be a pain to code but having an on demand event could potentially be worth it?
