Kairuku at southern "island"?

In the map it's stated that there is a southern island with kairukus on it.. actually this island is a giant rock with only edges. There is not one single kairuku (it's also not snowy, just plain rocky). Is this a bug/error? Are there only kairukus at the north end of the map?

I believe Exilog put in another post that it will be fixed. Right now they are all over the big Snow biome, and if your looking for organic Polymer, your only meters away from Mantis on the tip of the Desert
