Oil Veins?
Hey I heard there were oil veins on Sunato in the snow region, if this is true would anyone be able to take a screenshot of one for me preferably on the north East side of the snow region of sunato I can't seem to find any although it does not help that I don't really know what I'm looking for...Thanks!!

Hello,

You should try to fly over the area to spot the oil veins. You can easyly find them cause around them are most of the trees dead.
Note: You should check under rock formations ;)

Have you fond any? Because Ive been flying over and mining rocks to find them all over the snow biome and I cannot find any..

I did but since then switched maps back to the island, theres one if you're heading into the snowbiome fairly close to the north eastern shore not too far in before the mountain

help having trouble with finding oil to place my pump. also how do you place a pump over the water oil veins. is it like a oil rig setup

Sorry havnt played shigo islands in a while the ebst I can do is recommend to you to look at my other comment, they may have relocated the veins since then. Also idk if you can place a pump in water?

have heard that sunato snow has some too but havnt been able to find them. Sucks that all the oil veins seem to be in the water and there is no info on how to farm it with pumps. if a dev member could look at this option and change or let me know where i should be looking i would be greatly appreciative. like this island and dont want to redo my server as most people are over lvl 45

On Sunato, look for large groups of dead trees with large rock formations in a clearing. You should find 1 near 20 lat,11 lon, another near 30 lat, 10 lon, and a 3rd near 20 lat, 22 lon

There are also at least 3 in the far southern desert of Arashi right where the deathworm is located. Again, you need to clear the rocks to see them. (around 90 lon, 85 lat)

Your pump should just snap to them, but the placement can be a liiittle tricky with how ARK handles that.
The water veins you just put a well on top of to use
