What it causes is some shaders and therefore some textures to not show up.
Now, with that said, it's not just this map. Lots of the materials that wildcard uses also suffer from this issue. Best suggestion I can give is to look at the actual ue4 guides on materials, textures, etc
If I can reduce the resolution of some of the textures enough, then we may have a solution, otherwise I will have to make a map extension which uses an alternative landscape material made for openGL.
One question I have is: Is the entire landscape appearing as gray boxes or only that section where you took the screenshot? Are there any sections of the map that do work? It might be a good example for how to adjust the broken sections.
