Giant Centipeid: T-3, size 2, but tough for its size and with a nasty bite. Maybe put Poison on the bite just for accuracy's sake, but no good abilities beyond that, lest it become too powerful.
American Bullfrog, Goliath Frog, or some other "mouth with legs" style amphibian: small, but bulky, with Leap Attack and a strong bite, and of course make it amphibious. If you could make abilities, I would suggest one where it regains a bit of healt with every kill, to symbolize their habit of eating anything and everything they can, but in leau of that you could just slap Regeneration on it.
I'd recommend a Galopagos Tortoise, which sacrifices the Snapping Turtle's amphibiousness and bite for lower cost and a larger size.
Something like a Pronghorn could fill the other role, which would be nice for fast ranged units.
A new frog could be an amphibious ranged unit, more traditional than the Pistol Shrimp.
Something like a Salmon as an overpopulation unit. Basically anything different enough from a Lemming would work, though.
My brother had a more creative idea, though- a Beaver which is able to construct bramble fences. I'd also personally like to see a Moa as a large level-4-type creature with a strong back-leg attack.
I also think there should be a macaw, because Tellurian needs more birds. I don't think it needs abilities.
I do also want a Flamingo, again, because of more birds. I'm unsure about what abilities it will have.
And at last, I think there should be a Pufferfish, which will be like an aquatic version of the ingame porcupine.
While that would look interesting, it wouldn't be very useful from a strategic perspective.
I have actually somewhat wanted a Flamingo in the past, because it could be a medium-sized hovering unit.
A Pufferfish would be quite useful. It could have quill burst AND poison touch. I support this idea.
Brontosaurus: teir 5, size 9, atks: bite and tail whip
Gazelle: teir 3, size 3, attack: Gore, skills: Herding & Charge Attack
Beaver: teir 2, size 2, attack: Bite and is amphibious
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_horned_lizard
size 1
direct range dmg (could be same effect as velvet worm but red, cos its shoots blood)
high defence (horns are parts of sceleton) ~45
regen (cos lizard)
frenzy (he shoots blood at enemies, making himself weaker (blood lost) and high blood pressure (kinda frenzy thing)) also that would give nice range/frenzy units
could get horns on head cos "horned" <- more fun or kinky stuff then real thing
Hedgehog
a size 1
similar to porcupine but without range attack and attack on tail,
and small dmg on head
digging on front legs (he hides in burrows)
quill burst (he is a hedgehog)
keeps disorinetig barbs on tail
this would result with animal similar to skunk (focus on utility) but with different stats (slower, less dmg, more resilient)
Trex: level 5, frenzy, Loner
Triceratops: Level 4 gore, charge, herding, high armor.
Raptors: Level 3, pack hunters
Ankylosaurus: Level 4, armored, immune ,
