Nanite Control Factory - Automated Construction (Not working - Old Version)

DS Survival - Factory not completing build projects.
I recently put one of these together on my DS Survival world. It started out promising. It completed all the partial armor blocks around my base.

But when I started to attach other objects to the base it was less than consistent. Example...
I connected 3 conveyor tubes and a connector to the factory. It completed the connector but never the tubes. It would list itself in the active state. I thought this may have been an issue with power (I only has 60 MW of production) as it would cycle in and out of yellow.

I increased power output to 1.2 GW. The factory appeared to be more responsive. I attached a small connector and projector to the base. It was fairly responsive to build armor blocks but I could never get it to build a cockpit that I placed on the connector.

When I enabled the projection, again, it initially looked good. It built about 2/3 of the projected ship and then stalled. The whole time the status reported Active. All of the animations were in place (the electricity in the factory, the nanite stream particle effects) but nothing was being built. I tried powering it off, letting it rest for a couple minutes, and then powering it back on. The 1st couple times I did this it would build a few more items but it would then stall. Even though it was stalled it was still drawing full power for the number of "active" streams.

There were a couple things I did come away with on this that may be helpful.
- I eventually gave up, dumped all of my components into a welder ship, and finished the job by hand. The factory definitely did not have enough on hand to finish the ship, but it may have only been pulling enough inventory for the current build streams.
- *I* definitely didn't have enough components, overall, to actually complete the ship. I had to produce a handful of items to finish it off. At no point though did the nanite factory complain that it was short on resources. (I had seen this error earlier on when I was trying to build a large reactor.)

If it matters in the 2nd instance, the ship did have modded parts. But I had more than sufficient components to build those parts.

MP is insanely hard to test, as it's completely inconsistent compared to how single player functions, and it takes upwards of 2-3 minutes for me to restart when testing (meaning I can't really test a lot as I'm limited in the amount of time I can look into issues). This problem is most likely a state issue (meaning the state of the factory is not being reported correctly). It was probably not finding components (or out of room?), and just wasn't reporting that state properly. There is a bug in projections right now where it will pull waaay to many components and eventually run out of room.

I will continue to look into it. But so far I haven't really recieved a lot of saves that show the issue easily enough for me to figure it out.

Understood. If there is something I can do to help, please let me know.

i want to build a lots of drills. every drill has its own projector on the large ship. 4 of the drills would built, but the last one not.

I just wanted to give you a follow up. Same server as my original post we built a new project and included a nanite factory on it. Worked exactly as expected.

Not sure if the large inv hotfix or the server-side authoritative changes played a role but it worked perfectly. Eased the pain of a large build.
