Nanite Control Factory - Automated Construction (Not working - Old Version)
no longer works across connectors
since the connector welding update may 5, nanites no longer build/repair anything connected via connector. they seem to be treating a ship like it is docked via landing gear (which was laid out as such in the update video).

Interesting. I will try it out and see what I see.

thanks, awesome mod otherwise.
if it can work with ships connected via landing gears that would be swell.

nto sure how to explain things, but despite having restarted my dedicated server and client and a few other things i had given up on it working for now. however nothing different from last start when it didn't work and the next few times i started my server, it has worked just fine across connectors. however i would still like to see ships that have landed with landers docked/locked get repaired/built.

have you checked your connectors are still attached if using pistons, im finding my connectors are ripping the piston heads off after the update and so the ship isnt joining to the station

nope, nothing special with pistons like that.
thanks for the advice though.

I absolutely love this mod, out of the many that we have this one was astoundingly much better than all of the rest. It worked so well the first night we decided we will keep it indefinitely. But then the update came and it didn't work anymore, which sucks!

Just to confirm what other users are saying here, we have a simple conveyor system without pistons or hinges, basically directly connected to the storage and factory. I can manually move items to the factory but then it also does not build.

When I check the log it says construction cancelled due to missing components, even though we have tried disconnecting it from the conveyor system and putting items directly in it.

I'm really struggling to see this issue. I've tried locking connectors, but the factory pulls fine from my perspective. Does anyone have a single player or small multiplayer world they can publish for me to look at describing this problem exactly so I can track it down? Logs wont' help because it's the logic behind conveyors that is probably the issue.

i dont think it is an issue with not getting the supplies and more to with the fact the factories after a time just lock up turn flash purple even tho they have ample supply and stop sending out nanites,

ive had it a few times and the only way to sort it has been to restart.. tho it does this for anything be it clean up blocks connected directly to the grid or via connector, when this happens does it continue to build blocks on the main grid or clean up floating objects..?

ive also found that if more then one nanite factories are running to try turning them all off waiting a minute the just restarting one.. if this is the case then its going to be a ♥♥♥♥♥ to sort cos every time the world is reloaded or restarted they work normally again
