Please note: If you set a large radius, the length of time it takes to scan increases expontentially. Meaning if you try to scan 500x5m it may take minutes or more just to do a single scan! (And basically eat up an entire CPU while it's doing it. While the game won't lag, it will take awhile).
just one more question, if you come here again. The radius and deph define a cylinder. This cylinder is centrer (in term of depth) on the NUHOL or the NUHOL is on the top ?
With highter setting (100/5) nuhol never detect ore (u said it will take some time so I let the game run during an hour... without any change). The nuhol menu doesn't show anything (ore detected/detectable in the bot-right side is empty. it didn't even show the titles (ore detected etc)).
it seems the only way to run the mining part without trouble is to let the radius and depth setting on default (I change the other setting without trouble).
I try to mount a NUHOL on a ship and put it in the ground. But it's seems doesn't work (even if the major part of the bottom is actually inside the asteroid. I post a screen-shot of the device. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=700682085
Edit 2 : finally got it (pushing and pushing again). But seem a little messy if you could, one day, improve the sensitive of the device, it will be perfect. thanks btw for this mod :)

The NUHOL in the picture is upside down. Now its trying to detect ore in the air... there isn't any ore in the air obviously ;)
Odd that it "sorta" worked up-side-down as well. Anyway I'll be using these the correct way up from now on as it seems to be letting me mine more than just once in an area now. Thanks a bunch.
