Crash on DS with piston in blueprint

our DS kept crashing today because of a piston in a large ship blueprint.

error log said:
ERROR while adding cube Piston: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

is this a problem with the NCF or a KEEN problem?

we will try to reproduce it for a full log. have to wait for the admin though.
