Hey,

So the LW2 Beta Testers say the following regarding the Mission Award Variety mod:

Missing some fields, should be easily fixable

Do we know any more specifics than this? Has anyone tested it? Any word from atamize about this?

Hi, I just played a mission in LW2 and didn't notice any problems. Of course, I haven't seen all the awards yet, so I'm not sure which "fields" are missing. I'll keep playing, and if you guys notice anything missing while playing LW2 please report it here. Thanks!

That's why I put the thread up, when I do my LW2 run, I'll use the mod and test. I'm keeping a collection of verified working mods up for XC2 including LW2, I'm not going to add a mod though until I'm reasonably sure it's working problem-free (such as Grimy's Loot Mod still needing him to do some stuff). Also I know LW2 has a major patch coming this week or next, so Grimy is waiting for that I believe, probably so are several other mod authors.

The mod appears to be working correctly in LW2. What I'm guessing happened with the beta testers is they played a stealth mission with a squad of one or two soldiers and didn't shoot anyone, in which case there wouldn't be enough awards to fill out all 8 slots, thus appearing as "missing fields". This is expected and not a bug. So don't worry about incompatibility. Let me know if any issues do arise however and I'll see what I can do.

Atamize, Do you know if your mod conflicts with Nice Drop Ship (De) Briefing? Mod Launcher seems to think it does, but yours has overriden if that's the case.

Yes, there is a conflict with Nice Drop Ship (De) Briefing. Having both mods enabled won't break the game (last time I checked), Nice Drop Ship will simply override my mod. It is possible for them to work together, but it requires some support from the author of that mod.

They both (kind of) work together. About half of your info screens come up before the 'click to continue" button, after it pops and the light in the Skyranger switches, about half the screens from NDSB show up. It's...kind of interesting, actually.

Is there a way to have a diashow like screen?. So you can add even more, or have the vanilla ones too? Or is this just imposibble... thanks

Nice Dropship (De) Briefing has multiple screens in a slideshow, so if that's what you mean then yes it's possible; I will consider it. In the meantime, you can include the vanilla stats on one half of the screen; check the mod description for instructions.

BTW please keep this thread related to LW2 discussion; other topics can be discussed in a new thread or in the comments.

Thanks for the report, prokolyo. Feel free to add those values directly to your ini file. I have no current plans to update this mod (unless something critical happens).

Is this "collection of verified working mods" public? That is, can I see it anywhere?
