Here comes my idea.

Pros:
30% better accuracy
50% more ammo

Cons:
30% longer spinup time

Additional info:
This weapon heats while shooting.
When heat is at 0%, next shot will fire only one bullet very accurately. It will penetrate one enemy and will have power of four usual bullets multiplied by 150%.
After the heat reaches 60%, it'll start slowing down.
After it reaches 100%, it'll overheat and you'll have to wait a couple seconds for it to cool down.

ok so let's get serious:
cons:
-10% dmg
60% chance for the projectile to have only 5-6 meter range
-25% max ammo
pros:
65% less dmg falloff
a bit less slowdown when spinning it

regular spinup times
shoots at regular speed

Would be cool if it was kinda like a Space Marine heavy bolter with lasers. Something like

~ Fires constant laser beam
+ Increased accuracy (100% acc would be totally balanced, but volvo is volvo who knows)
+ 300% ammo
- 10-15% damage penalty
- Overheats when firing continiously

Generates heat which needs cooldown time when full

it has a space mining theme so i think:

+ +100% ammo (it would be 400)
+ +80% increased firing speed
+ +60% spin up time

- can only resupply at the base
- 25% lower Übercharge duration
- -50% damage
- -100%(yes, 100) movement speed when spun up

I think it would be better like this:

80% faster firerate

Cons:
60% longer spinup time
50% lower damage
80% slower movement speed when spun up
90% less ammo from ammo pickups (destroyed buildings, ammo crates)

You do know that the heavy already had ammo problems, and you just made them worse?
You're basically trading a bit higher dps in for having to run back to spawn to get ammo. This basically becomes a brass-beast, except bad.

(+) Ammo Recharges over time (Starting at 50, able to hold a maximum of 300)
(+) Sets players on fire (Deals 1 damage every 1/2 second, similar to degreaser)
(+) +50% accuracy
(+) After dealing 500 points of damage, press reload key to generate an AoE resistance buff similar to the Battalion's Backup with similar range and time.

(-) Does not take ammo from boxes
(-) Takes 75% less ammo from dispensers
(-) Accuracy degrades over time while firing
