I felt quite boring about this gun without the tactical

Well, I would normally agree - but then again you always have a sidearm and/or a buddy as a spotter if you're playing in MP mode, so it's not a top-priority thing.

you can always mod the file after you get it and add Hook_[attachment type: Barrel, Tactical, etc]
