Can't hear transmission beeps
Heya, everything works fine except the only beeps I can hear when when transmitting are my own. Everybody else just speaks without any sort of beep. I saw a video with somebody being able to hear everybody's beeps. Is it a TS option that I don't have turned on or?

*Awuuu* OwO
In your Teamspeak Plugins directory there should be a radio-sounds folder. In there are local and remote sounds. Atleast they should be there.
What TFAR version are you using? 0.9.12? This workshop version?

OwO haha
I just checked. The sounds are all there but I don't hear them for some reason.
I'm using the workshop version.

Maybe the files are corrupted and that's why it can't play it.
Try redownloading/reinstalling the Plugin. And check your Teamspeak Client log.. It might log errors about sounds.

Okay after a lot of experimenting I found out the reason it wasn't working. The log said that the directory wasn't found or something similar. I tried everything but all my files and mods were exactly equal to my friend's.
So then I realised the problem. It seems that when Teamspeak tries to find directories it scans for them in ASCII. My windows username is "Rubén" so it's using a non-ASCII character, and when looking up the directory it will look for "Rubén" which obviously doesn't exist in my computer. Although this wasn't specified at all in Teamspeak, I reinstalled it in program files and now it works perfectly.
The only problem is that plugins won't recognise the installation folder.

In any case I think this would be a good FAQ note or something similar.

Wow... Teamspeak never disappoints with it's errors...
But TFAR detects the Audio Files correctly now? Or does it also fail on the ascii thing?

It works perfectly now because I reinstalled TS in program files, which means there's no room for error (afaik Windows itself will find Program Files no matter the language) I tried changing my username but the way Windows works means you can't change your Users folder. It's a bit annoying but what can ya do

But Teamspeak 3.1 still installs Plugins into Appdata no matter where you installed Teamspeak itself.. Except if you move the Plugins manually.
If it's TFAR that get's the path wrong then I gotta fix it.

No, I tried to install the plugin and it said that it couldn't find the path, so I moved the .dll and radio-sounds myself. It's the only workaround I could find

THIS! This was my problem! I fixed it by copying the teamspeak folder in appdata to my "wierdly" named userfolder. Thanks windows...

I have this problem too. Reinstalled TS and TFAR addon, and it doesn't resolve the problem. Can anyone help?
