build error. re: cockpit commands.
when i use a build and repair system, it usually builds, flies and mines fine, when i do it manually i end up with some of the commands in cockpit as graycube, is there a particular manual build order that makes things work?

I have not used "octopus" for a long time, it is a raw product that needs improvement. Here's what I recommend using https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1507646929 You can use this script on the "octopus". The basis of this script is taken from the "octopus", modified and can be used on any technique.

i replace pb_nav with it? anyway, for plain mining, it works fine.

Read the instructions, everything is much easier than you think. The script has a lot of functionality, but if you only need mining, it will be even easier for you.

i don't think it has the instructions, there must be an original octopus somewhere with all the docs.

yah, odd, that's the one i have, gotta be some peculiar specific order. maybe some way to error check could be added by someone that knows how to script it. i wanna beat it into submission, or at least exhaust it, before i move to a different script.

same problem on two different sets of mods, doubt it's the compass.
