I have the same issue, have to un-sub and re-sub, re-installing the whole 3 gbs. Solution would be nice.

You probably already have the files. Check out "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244450\610304528" directory.
If you have it, just copy that directory into "Steam\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\mods" and rename accordingly if you want to.
