But even with range advantage you arent safe from game just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over, recent example: i had a kt, enemy had super pershing which got shot by at least 5 fausts and its turret was hit by Kt's pak43 (which has enough pen + very good chance to cause damage on its stock shells), yet super persh lived and oneshotted the KT.
Different example: where my super persh missess a panther twice and gets oneshotted in return while panther is moving at "full" speed.
Tank duels are mostly about rng, unless your tank highly outclassess enemy one but even then you arent safe from a streak of unfavourable rng, while flanking depends on your enemy making mistakes as all your tank movement can be heard through fog of war prescisely.
