SP mission mode Mortars getting wrong ammo
I almost exclusively play SP missions, and love to use the mortars, however since installing Robz it seems the mortars get about 4 shots of HE and 2-3 smoke and then nothing, you take them over to a resupply truck they load up 4 shots HE 2-3 smoke and then nothing. However if you look in the inventory it says it has 30 rounds of heavy HE that is will not load or fire.

I am doing something wrong here or is there a bug

It had been a very long while since RobZ updated on the vanilla SP missions. So with each new update, vanilla SP missions get less and less viable to play with the mod.

Do the mortars have the same issue on other maps? like I said I really like setting up mortar batteries hammering an area and then pushing up with a combined infantry IFV/armor push I haven't been playing with robz on because said mortars are a big part of my enjoyment, and vanilla MoW is getting rather stale

Better question is there another mod, or a bolt on mod that does mortars better? would really love a mod that had say 20mm mortars embedded in an infantry squad squad, or that came as a squad of 10, 2 mg's 2 riflemen and 3 2 man 40mm teams. would also love to see air burst shrapnel rounds or incendiary rounds for clearing dense cover or built up areas.
