How to play in co-op (Guide)
Follow these steps how to setup your co-op session:

1) Start Dying Light Custom Game.
If you can't find it: go to your Library and in the left top corner you'll see Dying Light.
Right mouse click on it and select Play Dying Light Custom Game.

2) In the game menu choose Play Custom Map.
3) Select Harran The Ride (Co-op) and start the map.
4) After the first cutscene press the Escape key to open the menu.
5) In the menu choose Options > Online > Game Type.
6) Set the game type to Friends.

Make sure all players have followed these steps before continuing.

7) Re-open the game menu again by pressing the Escape key.
8) Go to Matchmaking and choose Find games.
9) Check if the wanted game shows up and press Enter to join.
10) If there's no game showing up: go to Matchmaking and choose Quick Join instead.

I installed it, and the co-op version isnt there. :/ we followed all the steps

The coop doesnt work! I have "game type public and allow human coop on". Then I start the mod. In the mod, the game type is single player and online options are greyed out!

Hi Robko,

As you may have noticed, there are 2 versions of my map:

1) Single Player version, which is packed with the base game and listed in the "Community Made Maps" menu. It's not possible to play co-op in this version.
2) Co-Op version which can be download at the Steam Workshop.

If you have download the Harran The Ride (Co-Op) version, make sure to load the map via the "Play Dying Light Custom Game" option, instead of the regular Dying Light.

The Matchmaking option to invite other players will be enabled AFTER the intro cutscene.
All players need to wait out the intro cutscene in order to join each other.
I have just tested this myself and everything works as it should:

If your issue still persist after following these steps, there might be an issue with corrupted/missing files. In that case I'd highly recommend to unsubscribe from the map and re-subscribe again.
