Collector Perk: Working as Intended?
Killing any non-human enemy has a 50% chance to grant 1 Intel point as long as the leader is healthy.

I presumed that 'non-human enemy' implied Aliens such as Mutons, Sectoids, Vipers, etc, exclusively but I am receiving Intel from ALL enemy troops ( basic Advent Troopers etc. ). Is this intended behaviour?

Secondly, I am receiving considerably more than 1 Intel per kill. I average 15 - 20+ notifications at a time ( screenshot[imgur.com] ). I intially wondered if it procced similarly to Guardian ( 50% chance, then another 50% chance, then another ) but it seems to really consistently reward high amounts of Intel. This has absolutely trivialized Intel as a resource for this campaign. Is this an intended behaviour, a bug, or a conflict on my end?

I have the same problem, for a mission or two it worked as intended, after levaing the game and loading again, I get ridiculous amounts of intel making it superbly OP. My game is modded, but by far those are cosmetic mods. The only gameplay mod is A better ADVENT. I hope this will be fixed

Something must have changed in one of the vanilla patches. We're looking into it.

The same thing happen to me. I receive multiple notifications for kills, four or five announces of intel gain when I killed two or three enemies at once.

I would like to add I am having it too.

In my last playthrought I was having the Alloy one give loads as well. Haven't gotten to it this run yet so no report on whether or not it works as it is suppose too.

I am also seeing multiple Intel per kill as well as multiple alloy and elerium per kill.

Still seeing this bug.

If I delete all the ini files in the mygames folder, it seems to work properly for a short while, but after a few missions, I start seeing loads of spam again. I'll start getting like 9 "+1 intel" messages with a single kill. The same thing happens with alloy and elerium messages; I might end a mission with 20 kills but 50+ alloys and 50+ elerium.

I'm not sure if it's related, but I also see this spam with the Long War Savior perk that adds +4 to medikit heals. I'll send a gremlin out to heal someone, and they'll get like 10 of those "+4 healing" messages; it's essentially a complete heal, no matter how badly someone is injured.

I have several mods installed, and the Long War mods are the first ones in the load order, so it's certainly possible that some other mods are altering the code and making these wonky things happen.

i've been using the mod since the game launched, and have been seeing variations on this the whole time, so i suspect the conflict is with something in the base game. that being said, its definitely gettting more extreme. when the mod starts going wrong it seems to be adding the collector perk to all soldiers on the mission. Initially at launch on my first playthrough once it started going wrong i was at most getting 4-6 intel per enemy, but now its significantly more.

good to know. i'll avoid 'collector' as a perk.
