If anyone has a problem with loading saves then crashing to desktop on mission 2 (forgot the name,it's the one where you take the airfield for fuel),then here is a temporary fix:
1:go into Arma 3 properties
2:under betas,download the dev branch
3:after downloading, launch the mission again and saving and loading will work.

WARNING:After you complete mission 2,DO NOT BEGIN MISSION 3. You need to opt out of the dev build (the mission is bugged out on dev build (multiple vehicles are missing,the objectives change during cutscenes half an hour before they should,and certain custom audio plays all at once when you start the mission)
Once out of the devbuild,both the mission and saving works.
