I could change the beam visual effect but I probably won't do that unless I have some other big update to add to this mod ^^ About travelling between maps, the Goator Who mod let you do that, and if you are also using the UFO mod then the UFO will be on the new map you enter as well. And for lasers, there is no laser shooting vehicle yet, so I will think about that :)
