Taleden's Inventory Manager
Assembler Management
Hi all,
I'm new to TIM but it sounds fu***** perfect for fill up ammo to guns. (Currently working on a Battlestation). Did i understood it correctly that TIM can use different Assemblers depending on the especial name? For example:
Assembler 1 [TIM Missile200mm]
Then disable it and TIM will activate it whenever that special ammo is below quota? So i build an assembler for every ammo type and TIM will manage the ammo-supply?
Thx Tester

Just use TIM ammo and it fills up correct type or ammo:20, so if you loose turret, not a big loss

Yes but when ammo is empty TIM could also automatically produce it doesnt it? And how do i have to set up the refinerys then? Especially if i dont want to assemble every Ammo type but just the missing ones?
I'm building a Station with nanites where i dont have to take care off it - Nanites repair with projection and TIM manages Inventory and (hopefully) assemblers.

Yes, if you tag an Assembler with "[TIM Missile]" and set it to produce Missiles on repeat, then TIM will turn it on and off as needed to keep your Missile inventory at quota. You can then tag each launcher with something like "[TIM Missile:50]" to keep them supplied. If some ingots start running low from producing ammo, then TIM will also make sure at least one Refinery is refining more of each low ingot type, as long as you have some Refineries with a tag like "[TIM Ore]".

Hello. It's an awesome mod and thanks for it but im a bit lost :)
Let's say I want 5000 steel plates in my P1 cargo.
I set the cargo's name correctly and there is the 5000 plates, but i don't know how to set the assember's quota. the assembler is making the plates nicely but i don't know how to limit it's quota. Where should i write it? Into the assembler's name? Or how?
Thanks :)

Check the "Quotas" section of the User Guide for details, but if you just build a panel and tag it "[TIM Component:P1]" then it will display your component quotas and you can edit them on that panel. If you want to only ever build 5000 steel plates no matter what, you'll want to set the % quota to 0% and the amount quota to 5000.

I set one of my LCD's to [TIM Component] and there I can see at steel plate 1.22k / 12.1k qty / quota. That is okay, i have 1.22k and the default quota (i guess) is 12.1k. No problem with that.

On my next LCD panel i set to [TIM Component:P1] and it says SteelPlate 150 / 40% minQty / minPct

But I still don't understand where and how should I write '5000' if I want 5000 steel plate in total in my system.

I know it's an awesome script, I just simiply cannot use it well :)

Thanks again :)

@Taleden: I've just found a nice mod http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=696337174 . I didn't test it, but if it really works, it can help a lot for assembler management. Use the current method when mod is not available in the world, but use the mod if it's there (i guess function availability can be checked in-game)

@Taledon Nanite Control Factory - Automated construction also has assembler contoler built in to the mod.. not sure if you can access it... but it would be nice to add an option to use it for people who have the script and mod.. the API extender would be nice.. if it's kind of like buckett/forge[mindcraft]
