It keeps saying search media when i click on a video.

same, only youtube's request url button don't work. Twitch is working perfectly

+1, need a solution to this. Been a pretty frequent issue on my end.

someone knows how put mp3 in the media player?

the hard way is the put the long link on that mp3 player part. To do that you have to alt tab out of the source game or write it 1 by 1, media player doesnt like shortened links. I hope this addon gets fixed soon or like a way for the mp3 part to accept shortened links

when launching gmod select launch 32 bit version and it will work

I switched to 64 bit and it worked for a little while but now it's not letting me add to the media.

Hey, Not sure if i'm too late to the party but it works if you search up the actual link on youtube then use the URL, then paste it into the bar next to "Search Media". The issue is that the github coding is bugged, So when on the YOUTUBE it shows a link for Github rather then youtube, it would say "http://samuelmaddock.github.io/gm-mediaplayer/request.html" so by pasting a Actual Youtube link, you can do it

because the original coding was made on Github by "samuelmaddock", and due to the programming bug, instead of a link it just says the link above, So like i said. All you gotta do is post a youtube link into the URL bar thing and it would work
