Defeating Final Wave Spawns New Wave?
So me and two friends were playing a 3v2 and we were very clearly ahead of the enemy team. We were patiently waiting for the final wave, thinking that neither team would be able to beat "The OP Guy at the End".

We started building units closest to the spawn, and actually managed to beat the final wave in a couple of seconds. However, upon defeating him, a new wave spawned instantly and wiped our units.

With a freshly spawned wave, we suddenly had two times as many units reaching our King, as opposed to the enemy, who failed their wave, but still managed to clear roughly half of it. A game where we were clearly ahead (albeit in a 3v2), turned into a loss, because we had too many strong units.

I know this is quite a casual and fun game, but isn't it detrimental to the game that you can be so far ahead that you actually lose from it? Alternatively, aren't the waves far too easy to clear at the moment (especially with the Human Builder)?

There's a couple of things here. Firstly, the final wave is an endless wave. As soon as you beat the first one, the second one spawns except your dead units don't respawn and a third and a fourth etc etc as long as a team still has units

Secondly at the moment it's bugged so that after the first wave ends, after the respawn, you're remaining units start moving to the king so the wave decimates your army because they aren't faving the right way

Thirdly, you are right, if you have a massive advantage, it makes no difference because your army is capped so people pretty much end up with a maxed boss, a maxxed economy and a maxed army. Any advantage you had earlier can be completely wiped out. I usually max by army by about wave 26 and i am left with 5k spare gold that i can't spend.
