Needlessly complicated.
Take a page from SpinTD and make your game simpler to understand. There is a reason why its always more popular.

One way would be to explain what each tower's role is without needing trial and error. Another would be to explain WTF the tango shop is.

Heck even all the guides or build ideas or setups are woefully outdated.
