What do you do when the map updates, Do you loose all progress on the map?

How do you put it on the server anyways?
And i meant building wise, for bases and whatnots

no u keep all inventories and buildings and progress. at least thats my experience. map versions and players / buildings data is in different folders i think

maps are in /bundles/workshop/maps/...
player and building progress is in /server/root/...
