Well Insurgency has support for 3 different first person models per Faction (excluding VIP): Light, Medium and Heavy.

Security, in its current State, has Medium and Light looking the same (short Sleeve) and Heavy has long Sleeves. But the Problem is, that since a past update, it seems all of them use the same Glove Texture (the one from the Light Class) instead of their individual one.

Which makes it much harder to create a mod with different Glove Textures for the subclasses (Light,Medium,Heavy) than it used to be.

While you can decompile the 3 Models and assign different Textures for them (i suppose via the .qc File) you still cant make the Game take use of more than the default 3 model types. Atleast not as a mod.

I imagine that the config files or whatever that control which model for which class are buried deep in the core game files and most likely protected in some form.

I could be wrong though, because this way above my modding skills.

So as a matter of Fact, its still possible to have three different Glove Textures for the Security Faction if you decompile the 3 models, assign different Textures for each of them and then compiling them back.

However you cannot fully control for which Class, you still would be forced to follow the original Light/Medium/Heavy Rules.

I hope i could provide some interesting infos about your request, just bear in mind, im anything but an expert and everything i wrote should be taken with a pinch of salt ;)
