1b3xx & 1b4xx Prep Release - Development Log
Stable Beta release standing 1b315 - Oct, 2015

10/9: School & 907G stuff is taking up my time. I may push an unstable version on Sunday (11th) this version will include fixes and placeholders.

Good reason for delay this time!
Fishing Ship -> MASSIVE OVERHAUL

I made my best effort to introduce more sea functionality this update. Skiff has been officialy functionally replaced by the Fishing Ship. Through trial and error and a little bit of exploting the villager mechanics, fishing ships are now a full-fledge sea villager unit. Key features include:
-- Fishing Ship renamed to 'Skiff', unless actually fishing.
-- Actually place the shanty, port, palisade walls (soon), and sea tower to a desired build location.
-- Helping build everything and anything.
-- Shoreline gathering! Mine if in range, Collect wood if in range.
-- Much stronger, gets all the indirect benefits of the Villager.

More sea-buildings now planned!
-- Shanty is now more of a house. (Still trains villagers)
-- Plantation now built from Skiff
-- Mine Shaft now built from Skiff
-- Shallows Path (makes small bridges)
-- Fullfill the dreams of a few people.

Manditory Updates (Will be included as planned, or required.)
Skiff Removed (for now)
-- Everything has been moved over to the Fishing Ship
Walls stop destroying themselves for some civs. (32768 limit)
-- Byzantines (Them, just being them.)
-- Chinese (Great Wall Bug)
-- Any Others

Progressive Updates (Most likely to be included.)
Unit - Sellsword
-- The final addition to the Outpost
Unit - Messenger
-- Player-Coded Coloring Added
Minor internal prepping for 1b4xx
-- Black animated Sails

Progressive Additions (Least likely to be included.)
Unique Unit - Pyro Ship - Eastern Civs Only - Age 1
- Fast early-game Fire Ship
- Disabled at Age 2
Unique Unit - Holk - Western Civs Only - Age 1
- Disables Transport Ship in Age 1
- Fast and cheap early-game shore-line Transport Ship
- Disabled at Age 2 (Replaced by normal Transport Ship)
Unique Unit - Canoe - New World Civs Only - Age 1
- Fast early-game Military/Fishing Boat
Unique Research - Wokou Pirates - Eastern Civs Only - Age 1
- Skiff more suited as a military unit.
Unique Research - North Sea Wake - Western Civs Only - Age 1
- Skiff more suited as a scout and trade unit.

Town Center - Research - "Govern Lands"
-- Requires Age 2
-- Disables "Feudal Lands"
-- Macro-management playstyle.
-- 3x less time to train Villagers from Town Center
-- 3x less time to build Mills & Camps
Town Center - Research - "Feudal Lands"
-- Requires Age 2

If school stops getting in the way, I can spend a good 30 hours and hook up the new graphics. :)

When I finish my big research paper (computer science), school assignments, and stop procrastinating due to stress. It stucks that the unstable build has all the fixes but all the garbage (new stuff that causes crashes) too so that has to be cleaned up, and that takes a lot of motivation.
