try this server, Warsong - Primitive+ PVP 5x it has active admins that keep the server up 99% of the time, restarts for updates etc

I can not believe I see this thread so often. Its rather simple, just disable auto update for Ark. The issue you are having is client side, not server side.

Essentially the issue arises when your client updates. Then when it looks for the servers it only shows the servers that match your client version. So until the servers are updated they will not show up.

To disable auto update, click on library and then find Ark Survival evolved. Right click and goto properties. Then click the updates tab and change the setting.

its only the official servers having this problem, the unnoficials just keep steaming along :D

The thing is you can't really cancel Ark updates, maybe while you play, but once you close and re-launch the game it will update. The main problem is the official servers don't get updated automaticly so...I can not believe you see this so often and stil got it wrong

I tend to keep auto update going on all my games. Though I do believe that if you turn off auto update, which steam makes it very easy to do, then Ark should not update. Unless that is unless the game itself forces an update on launch.7

Yep, i never auto update anything, ever, for any software. No idea why anyone would.

yes, you can, lauch the game form a shortcut its not rocket surgery folx

if you launch the game form a shortcut to the games exe it will not update

folks* but that was very inventive

btw edix your complaining about mod when not reading the bug section first. The mod has its hickups but is up and running on official servers and very fun reguardless of current problems.

That is not cancelling ark updates it is running the version of the client you have...
