Can't Ransom anyone?
I captured an officer in a battle but when I got to the Ransom brooker and select "ransom companion" he askes who and I just say "never mind" so what do i now do with my prisoner?

Ransom works the same as in native Warband.

Enemy commanders are nor sold at the ransom broker, that's just for regular prisoners or (and that's the "ransom companion" option) to get back one of YOUR companions that has been captured. For enemy commanders you have to wait until their faction offers to pay ransom
