Since posting this, I've been advised that this is a "core mod" by some guildmates. My understanding is that installing this mod is a commitment to this mod, that game progress is dependent on keeping the mod installed and that the mod authors must keep the mod updated for the game as long as you are playing it. For example there are AR dinos (some, all, don't know),with buffed specs, and I've been told that once tamed these dinos only remain in the game if the mod is left installed. If this is an accurate description, then it's a commitment I don't think I want to make. What I think I'm looking for instead is a mod that improves appearance of dinos or the environment, but if removed has no drastic effect on game progress.
