Report a translation problem
It seems that the crash occurs when the invisible character model dies. Since there's no model, I guess the game looks for a death animation that isn't there, and boom.
The solution I found ... seemed far too obvious at first, but seems to have worked, because I've had not further issues as of yet... and I just left Dantooine. The solution is: ignore the fight, and leave the sublevel. The door isn't closed, you can just walk out. So, I did, and the invisible man never returned.
