How does one know that the mod is working / enabled?
Is there any indication that this mod is working? I load the game up and i dont know if the mod is working or not?

The mod version should be on the main menu. Your savegame files will also be labelled as modded when you go to the load game screen.

The above and an old tip from Deadlystream: start a game, skip prologue, and find Kreia (two rooms from the start). If she says "Ebon Hawk" during your first conversation, the mod works fine.
Beware, the mod doesn't cure the game from its original chash-i-ness, but I didn't meet a crash untill 5-6 hours into the game with 1.8.4. Unmodded you'll crash 5-8 times within the first few hours, so count your blessings...

Crashiness is subject to hardware/software configuration. I've never had a crash yet - vanilla or modded.

Ooops forgot to answer, the mod was not enabled until I restarted steam. Then the mod took effect, never the less. Cheers for the help.
