Transparent armor textures glitch (desktop PC)
Hey everyone.
I encountered this weird glitch where certain shiny armor textures appear transparent. I first noticed it when I met HK-47 on Peragus, who appeared almost entirely transparent (for reference, he looked EXACTLY like in Stealth HK-47 mod you can find in the workshop). Second time was on Talos, where republic officers had transparent armor on their backs.
I realize it's not a gamebreaking experience, but it completely ruins the immersion to me. I'm sure I'll see other transparent stuff further into playthrough.

After looking it up I only found that it's typically a laptop integrated graphic card issue, but I've got a desktop PC and my graphic card isn't that bad (GeForce GTX 970). Also, the glitch only occures with TSLRCM on, never on vanilla.
Any thoughts on how to fix it without uninstalling the mod? Played vanilla a dozen times, here to mostly experience the new content, so I wouldn't want to just drop TSLRCM.

Hi DDns, that's a new one!

I realize you are playing on a desktop with a better graphics card (so bear with me), but I've had to play on legacyPC, then download TSLRCM manually off of deadlystream or another mod site. The game will run the same, except you will not have achievements via Steam and you cannot download mods via the workshop.

If nothing else works for you, it is something to try.

Achievenemts for a KOTOR game are interesting though, I kinda hope a manual download for non-legacy version will work. Gotta try different version of TSLRCM, too. Thanks for the tip.

If you have an old disc copy, downloading that version, and then running it in an Emulator for the version of Windows it was for, and downloading the mod from deadlystream and applying the changes to the disc version install of the game should also work, as (I believe) the main reason for the LegacyPCBeta is that modern windows has a hard time dealing with the game, so it emulates an older version for the game to run in, while keeping the rest of your computer running in the modern Windows version.

What I tried so far:
- setting compatibility of the .exe file for winXP SP2/3, running as admininstrator;
- a few large texture / fx replacers;
- disabling / enabling every graphic option in the game;
- installing / uninstalling TSLRCM via workshop and independently;
- tweaking Nvidia graphic card settings that had to do with textures and transparency;
- doing all the above mentioned with both updated and LegacyPCBeta version of the game.

Nothing worked, except uninstaling TSLRCM. Unfortunately, I don't have the disc version of the game, not sure it would work anyway. I wonder what the mod does to make this glitch happen, does it restore any technical / graphic approaches not present in vanilla? If so, that would explain things, coz I thought it only restored some material aspects, not touching upon the graphics.
