Access to modded version not appearing
I have played this before with no problems and the mod ran fine, but since the whole Windows 10 update disaster of earlier this year, I've been having trouble with KOTOR2. I finally managed to get it working, following the advice of a Reddit user to change the BETA to "legacypc". The game runs great now, but the mods don't work at all it seems. I subscribe, let them download, restart Steam and nothing! It just keeps launching the vanilla game. Help please!!

Legacypc doesn't have the workshop.

So basically... I can't use mods :( All because of a stupid Windows "update" that I didn't ask for. Great!

I've never succeeded the old-fashioned way... Tried, but it just didn't work for me.

Hi JackOfLanes, I FEEL YOUR PAIN. I wanted to help walk you through how to get this mod to work in legacyPC, since I have had so much difficulty with this myself. If you scroll to the bottom of this forum and on the second page, you can see my process here:

But long story shortened...
*** you are going to want to go to DeadlyStream to download the mod by Hassat Hunter found here: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/578-tsl-restored-content-mod/

When downloading it the path should be
"program files (x86)" -> "steam" -> "steamapps" -> "common" -> "Knights of the old republic II"

Restart your computer after it's downloaded and open the game. It should say "Restored Content Mod 1.8.5"

Make sure it is in this order it is saved in. Let us know how that works. Best of luck to you ~
