Electric Furnaces to Incubate Eggs!
I guess I'll make a few cubbies like the one shown below for hatching eggs. It's easy enough to turn them on and off to maintain the proper temperature, and this way you don't blow through 10,000 wood or spark powder.

I'd like to see others' ideas as well.

be careful at night, it gets so cold there even 8 fires and an AC unit weren't enough for a rex egg

its really simple and its just make some ducted a/c units they are much more effective than the normal ones we have 2 in a 6 x 2 room and its fine

um place a ducted air conditioner on the ground place the egg ontop of it :p much cheaper and easier (only takes one) THEN do NOT imprint for 1-2 hours after hatching this bypasses the initital 10% where it can't eat from a trough and ensures its survival

OMG the second part of that^... I had no idea! Thank you

I have a hatching room that's the perfect temp for all eggs. A breeding pair of pachys are trapped together as well as a pair or ankys. There should have been 3 of each walking around when i woke up, but there were only an egg from each one. What could have happened to the 3 of each that were not imprinted on? (no one from my tribe was on, room is sealed with walls, not fences)

Do the non imprinted babies die after about 2 hours?

Well I tried this. Babies die in less than 4 minutes if not claimed. Not such a great idea after all.

I haven't had trouble with them despawning

I didn't say despawn. I watched it hatch, and 4 minutes later it died.

that's...odd x.x but then not worth the risk either it could be a number of things i think the reason was cause i was logging off before they hatched once they hatch the ai goes into stasis

I've hatched 29 so far. I'm working on my fourth generation pachys and ankys now, parents are lvl 179 and I'm hatching out lvl 200s. I thought 179 would be the highest (perfect 120 tame), but I guess not. I'm a little intrigued how high they'll go. I'll know once I breed my g4 lvl 200s tomorrow.
