Feeback after a few games
Hello,

Excuse my english, it's not my native language.

I played several hours on this map (2 players) and like it. But it could be way way way better imo.

Bag of gold :

- Enable the "autoloot" when you have bkb activated. That is so painful to click on it...
- Remove the despawn after a few sec, that's very frustrating.

Movement around the map :

This is the biggest problem i have with the map : moving and path finding.

You have only 6 slots and considering the power of the monsters, wasting a slot for boots will end with a death. And this is SO boring to run on the map to find the little mob that stay on the cliff or to catch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gyrocopter who never come close to you...

Suggestion :
- Add viable upgrade for boots.
- Free path ? (like brood with the cobweb). It could also decrease the time you end the wave which is also good and you can react to random monster that destroy a tree and destroy your ancient...

Wave gyro/clockwerk :

DAMN THE GYRO ARE SO BORING. They just run everywhere, even with boots they are hard to catch and they do 5 times the whole map before coming close to you. The suggestions on mobility could help to fix this.

Wave sniper :

Stunlock...there are counters and this wave is doable BUT if you get stunlocked you can die pretty fast without having a chance to deal with it.

Wave flying roshan and wyvern :

Well they hit like a truck and go straight to the ancient...if you are far from the middle of the map = instaloose. Plus, the wave is boring...The suggestion about mobility could help or they should focus you.

Wave medusa :

GOSH how can you defeat that ? i tried several tactics but she is too strong.

With melee : she slow you with skadi and if by miracle you are close to her, she ults then you turn back and die anyway (relying and lifesteal + evasion to survive isn't enough)

With caster : 3 shots...you can use some spells but as soon as she ulti, you turn back and you are dead...

Mysterious saphir :

Is it possible to buy that ? :p I've never beaten the wave 18 so...

I hope this can help you improving your map. I really enjoy it so i'm waiting for future updates (including or not my feedback :) )

your English is good. I agree most of what you have said. especially on gyro, boots upgrade, autoloot for magic immune and others. i'll try to make some slight changes for this. on enemy getting stuck, can you give me a screenshot of enemy getting stuck on some area?
on medusa, mkb will definitely help a lot since the enemy has evasion.
on mysterious sapphire, it's actually not purchasable. it's an item drop of a certain enemies.

you can also cut trees to help you create some shortcuts. abilities that can cut trees such as powershot, battlefury and others to improve your mobility on the map. thanks for sharing your experience, Frolafo.

Here i am again :p I'm glad that you share some points with me :)

About medusa :

MKB is indeed essential. The main problem i have is that she cast her ulti every 10 seconds and you can't avoid it with BKB. And since she hits like a truck...

I did a game as Zeus with an Anti-Mage. We managed to kill her i don't know "how". I mean : she casted her ult, we backed a little bit then i spammed her with my spell so her HP dropped very fast, thankx to zeus passive, then AM finished the job. 1 point i'm missing her : did we killed her because AM burst all of her mana so she only casted her ulti once ? or were we fast enough at killing her ?

About sapphire :

Since i killed medusa and progressed a little bit further, i saw that they drop from monsters :p

About cutting trees :

Yes it helps. But it creates new path for monsters which can lead directly to your ancient. And even with that, considering you have no boots, most of monsters run so fast that you will intercept some but miss the rest...

As i said, i played with an AM. This hero is a beast only because he has blink...it help so much to clean wave faster and being everywhere on the map. I know the map is designed so at a certain point you have to stay in the middle BUT AM breaks it ! And running with my poor zeus :'(

About waves after medusa :

The centaur wave was pretty funny. AM burst them using BKB but i didn't knew they had dispersion :D Damn that hurts xD
The wave after, i had no time to rest that monsters spawned...the screen was flooded by tons of monster. Managed to killed the wave thankx to shiva's guard !
The wave of nyx : well, another wall for me. We died. Too many nyx, i used BKB but it seems the return damage still works. My octarine wasn't enough to sustain the damage. And when BKB is over...the stun fest begins !!!! So i'm still looking for a strat here but considering the difficulty i have, i wonder how you can go to wave 35 :D

About stuck ennemies :

I'll try to do a screenshot when i'll replay. The two i have in mind are slarks on the right and left to dire top-east tower (the one near your runes).
Also, some treants got stuck but i think that you can't do anything about that since the furions are spamming treant everywhere, even on the cliff :p

anti-mage must have used his ultimate that's why medusa die easily. some heroes really do well in some certain waves and some are not. on nyx wave, we'll check on the return damage part. hopefully i can implement the boots upgrade soon. i'll make it cool. thanks for sharing your experience and have a nice day.
I would also like to suggest a few things:

1. After the round is finished and you stand on the base where your destroyed tower was it respawns and traps you inside of it. Either make a nudge hero mechanic, or mark the ruined tower place better letting the player know not to step on it.

2. Only the top shop auto assembles the purchased item while the one near the base does not. It would be wise to enable that option on every single shop.

3, The courier us practically worthless in this mode. The retrieve commands from a regular match do not work, and the poor guy just dies in one hit. Would be nice if the monsters do not target the courier.

4. Heroes like Bloodseeker have a good early game but a really crappy late game here. Two of his skills are worthless and should be dealt with. Undying is kinda crappy later on. Same as dark seer. Would be cool if Doom could up his stats and make skills like Invoker by consuming a certain number of certain creeps, and forge a unique spell which can be used regularly from then on with its cooldown respectively. It would be nice to indicate a tempered character for this mode while still in the hero selection menu.

5. It would be cool if you could buy an item for your necro warriors summoned from the necronomicon item, or the further upgrade would make them into a different unite, or just do a multi summon of more necro warriors. That would be nice for Warlock since in duo challenge he can really do nothing later on. His heals are low, his summoned golems are low, and he has no offensive skills to boot. At least give him something to summon.


Just my two cents. Hope you like the suggestions.

I actually like your suggestion. for number 1, 2 and 3. we've been trying to fix and finding a work around on that. we're still finding some ways. on 4 and 5, we'll see and try to implement that. thanks for sharing.
