DirectX 8(Settings -> video -> advance -> software dxlevel)? If not, try find in console errors(that cause PPM) OR write in console cppm_developmode 1 restart server, and copy all string, started from "CPPM:"

well the pony has purple and black checkers on it how do i fix that

What about her wings? ppm editor works?

the entire pony is purple and black chekers and i've tried to change it but it won't change. it flys and everything but the colors don't show at all.

For best view make 256x256 image, fill center (128x128) with your image, have fun.

Alright, cool. Thank you. EDIT: what is GarrysMod\garrysmod\materials\ppm_custom\ ? I am not very good at programs and stuff, so i am very confused. Like do you type it into the console, or is it a link? I apologize for my stupidity, I am not trying to make you frustrated. There is a chance that you are older than I am, so you're probably smarter than me. Thanks!

Okay I've tried all ways that I know of to get my own custom mark onto my character and I'm quite litterlly at my wit's end.

Every single time I clicked the button to put the selected the image on the model my game freezes and stops responding entirely.

I made sure to put it in the proper file directory garrysmod\materials\ppm_custom\

1) I made a mark using paint.net, saved as a .png
2) Re-drew the mark in gimp (ugh) and manually added an alpha channel and exported as a .png
3) I've deleted and re-installed the addon three times, closing and opening Gmod after each time

what am I doing wrong? Is there a conflict in my addons? Or is my version of cppm just need to be deleted and re downloaded?
