It's gotten to the point that this has taken so long, that I don't even want it anymore.
This announcer pack would have been the reason for me to start playing again, but the hype has died down. Why the hell would you stall releasing an announcer pack for so long, or announce too early? Why? Why?

Don't give up! Maybe they are still working on it? If so, knowing Dota, it will have incredible audio depth. I hope it has something for each character, that is something that would take time and good writing. Patience

hey, season 2 just premiered last week so hype will build up. plus busy with TI5 and ♥♥♥♥... how long was the deadmau5 music pack in the works before it got added??

If I were them I'd either release during or after season 2 release. Just from a marketing perspective, it makes sense.

Can't they release it as it is and make further improvements on it that people just have to download and update.

From what I heard it was scheduled for release alongside the season two release, but valve needed them to make some changes. P Flax helped in the creation and it has a lot of hype so it should be released in time. Just be patient guys.
