Hmmm have either of of you tried reinstalling? Or maybe the server you are trying to connect to is just broken? I wouldnt be familiair with the issue becuase i havent made a new character sense day 1 so i hope this gets fixed for you guys but my best advice right now is to reinstall or try a different server or even local play, and if you were playing local play from the start than try playing on a server i know a few good ones to get you guys started with a nice community if you guys are new to the game. :)

Still won't work after I re-installed ARK: Survival Evolved, They need to fix this quickly before they start losing players.
I've waited a few patches, Still nothing has been fixed with this issue, Then I e-mailed the Community Manager, Hopefully he sends the Devs the information, soon, So they can fix it.

Before you do anything go to steam and go to library. Locate Ark Survival: Evolved and right click it and click properties. Finally find verify game cache and do that. Run it after its been verified and see if that works.

Also try Loading one of Low end computer presets you might not be able to support the full game. My old computer cant even run Arc I had to upgrade my entire system

did you try the extremely low setting?

what kind of graphics card do you have?

Try to use this as startup parameters -high -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 and start up the game in extremely low memory mode. As soon as u can get into the options run everything on low. Disable everything like shadows distance shadows ect. ect. Try also 1024x768 resolution with window-fullscreen enabled. Set ur desktop resolution to 1024x768. That`s how my gf`s pc is running it becouse she only has 4gb ram. I hope it helped.
