a few commentaries
Hello, thanks for making the game ! Here are a few remarks :

What I liked :

- the overall graphism choices, characters design and tone, which immediately catches your attention and make your game stand up. The music is great too.
- Your characters just feel real. It's a feat considering how little we've seen them so far. Your protagonist is very compelling and we don't have enough games starring Natives.
- the potential for a rich backstory. You know the game will tell you more as it progresses.
- Following the protagonist's trail of thoughts. I know it irritates some gamers, but personally I love having the character's insights on his environment. Althought, as the other reviewer said, it might be a good idea to give us time to appreciate the atmosphere.
- the decision-based system. I hope you expand on that because it immediately gives your game some scope.

What I think could be improved :

- there are some graphic mistakes that could be easily solved : you can walk over some items, some doors are too far from the walls and some shadows are missing.
- the events get triggered from 2 squares away, your character studies computers he's not even facing. You could improve that by a condition on which direction the hero is looking to.
- It's a personal pet peeve, but the speed of your character makes it kind of slippery to control.
- The animations feel a bit cheap and out of place. Maybe there's another way to point to the places to look into.
- And finally, the combats feel quite out of place, especially since they trigger without a monster appearing near you. I don't think you must absolutely get rid of the combat system, but it needs a bit more introduction in my opinion.

Anyway, I think your game is very promising and original, it may need a little more polishing on the event system, but I'm looking forward to playing the full version !
