So, without further ado, here's my idea.
Hence the name, I think it should have a slight dmg increase, hence the Iron. However, it should have a fire rate decrease. this will help stability, and make it much easier to use effectively. Finally, on the negative side, it should give the user slower movement speed whilst in use, like Heavy's speed.

Sounds great so far but maybe not heavy speed, that would be a bit overkill.Maybe soldier?

You know not Too slow but still not fast enough to where it's just a buffed up version of the SMG.

Agreed. Soldier.

+30% faster firing speed
+15% damage
-10% clip size
+20% bullet spread

or

+25% slower firing speed
+20% accuracy
+10% damage
-25% clip size
+15% slower reload

If I had to choose either I would probably go with the later.
Shakkari 23 May, 2015 @ 2:56am
+20% faster firing speed
+25% clip size

-25% damage
-40% slower reload time
-No random critical hits

Idk.. what do you think?

Nah because it already has a buffed damage stat and I mean we ALL just hate it when we get like shot 5 times and die from crits. No crits wouldn't be bad

Second one would be pretty good but i feel like first one would be a tad bit op on close range

I think it should retain it's upped damage and slow speed therefore:

+20% damage (like most +DMG weapons)
+25% firing speed
-20% max ammo
-40% movement speed while active

So this weapon should be a more solid backup, and when used properly, can be offensive as well when dipping in and out of cover. So what do you think?

I think that it should have a lower fire rate.. In my opinion i never use the stock SMG because A: it looks hideous, and B: it shoots too fast to get good solid hits
