Sapper Idea.
What if it is like, a broken sapper half assed-ly put back together to fit the wasteland feel?

ikr. I just wanted to see a cool model. Valve doesn't care about what we want the stats to be.

and maybe with a deploy animation in which spy gives the sapper a tap to get the gauges going

Maybe you could make a sapper that changes the enemies buildings into your teams' buildings for a few seconds... Like lets say there is any enemy sentry, you take the sapper, place it on the sentry and the ENEMY sentry becomes your teams' sentry for a few seconds... It does no damage but it turns the enemy teams' buildings against them...

I think he is saying something along the lines of 'A sapper which could get rid of the building quick but it has to recharge' So basically just Stats
