Yes there was indeed a crash bug but not just the content of the map is the game itself are two solutions

1.Make a (check the integrity of game cache) to right-click on the game of your Steam library and properties
then (check the integrity of game cache).

2. Or you have to reboot your pc.

the map will not be updated for a small problem unless required by the game.
