The Canvas Mid-Taunt
In your videos, I noticed you failed to show the taunt from behind. Were you planning on having the words appear as the Spy make his brush strokes, or have the canvas show the message from the start? It would be easier to make the canvas the same the entire time, though I am unsure what exactly is possible using the source engine.

You could just as easily change the entity so that it has a different face, but then it wouldnt work with custom decals, which I think this really goes well with! :special:

Potentially, yeah. Though I dunno if having a custom decal applied to a Taunt is possible. It might be, and I'm not claiming to be an expert on the Source Code or anything.
