Can the Sentrygun still kill the Spy while it's using the box?

Don't you know? The carboard boxes are lined with sheets of metal on the inside, therefore the infrared sensor on the sentry wouldn't detect the spy unless if it saw him through the front or back hole.

question, has there ever been a area in the game that has cardboard boxes in it, because I'm pretty sure everyone well know that box has a spy in it.

Maybe Wlangler or players only kill Spy while it's using the box? (Sorry for english).
