I have had this idea for a mod like this for a while, but I lack the knowledge of how to do it. I have only learned basic coding. You are the best mod team I have seen for don’t starve. This is why I want to propose the idea for
The tournament is a hunger games like mod where contestants (with the options of teams) battle it out after the grace period is gone to become the winner while getting random supplies and not activating traps.

1. Hounds (because they no longer spawn on time based system in the mod)
   
2. Loot chest (a chest will spawn and will be revealed on the map with loot)
   
3. Weather change (for 3-5 days it will change to a different season)
   
4. Giants (A giant will randomly spawn on the map but will not hunt players down and travels each day)
   
5. Half damage (all damage is halfed)
   
6. Meteor shower (a short 30 second meteor shower)
   
7. Fear the sun (not hearing a umbrella of some sort will lower sanity gradually like night time)
   
8. Once in a blue moon (a full day full moon affect)
   
9. The perfect day (all hostile creatures become neutral)
   
10. Praise the sun(gradually gain sanity during the day)
    
11. frog rain (rains frogs simple enough)
    
12. players are not allowed to damage each other
    
13. Gods strength (double health and .5 damage bonus)
    
14. aura of life (heal slowly for the day)

When the time adjustable time limit has been reached meteor showers are frequent, all beefalo are in mating season, pigmen become hostile, wildfires happen randomly and worst of all player locations revealed.
